Cookstown Central presents "The Little Mermaid" Central presents "The Little Mermaid"
Students of Cookstown Central Schoolare proud to present Pioneer Drama's adaptation of "The Little Mermaid." The cast of students, ranging from grades 5 to 8, bring new energy to this classic story of magic and love.

When a mermaid, Princess Anemone (T. Hardy,) falls in love with a Prince (A. Voswood), nothing can stop them from being together, even the schemes of a deliciously evil Sea Witch (A. Crosby). With the help of her loyal clam sidekick, Clem Clam (J. Harrow), the Mermaid faces all her obstacles, including the loss of her voice and the Prince's mistaken betrothal to another girl (K. Henry)!

The cast is rounded out with a school of fish, beautiful mermaids, sharks, sailors, and a band of wedding guests, all eager to outdo the bride!

With stunning sets and costumes that you won't want to miss, courtesy of local theatre groups South Simcoe Theatre and Kempenfelt Community Players, as well as our own Mrs. Warren and her design team, this performance is sure to be remembered.

Come out to the CCPS gym to see the magic unfold on May 4th or 5th at 7pm. Doors open at 6:40.
